StratorSoft’s customer is an Independent Software Vendor focused on the physical security industry. The company came to StratorSoft to create a custom ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) data pipeline between Hubspot and Airtable.
The customer needed to use custom objects in Hubspot as a data source to power a product they were developing for consumption by their own customers. This customer-facing application happened to use Airtable as a datastore and user interface layer. The problem the customer faced was that any existing Hubspot to Airtable integration did not support the particular custom HubSpot objects in use.
The StratorSoft team used a combination of the Hubspot and Airtable APIs, Hubspot workflows and a custom ETL pipeline written in Python. They were able to create a solution that extracts Hubspot contact info and custom object data, transforms the data, and loads them into Airtable. They were then able to associate the two data sets within the Airtable base for a richer end-user experience.
The customer now has the ability to use Hubspot and Airtable as they wish within their own customer facing application.
